Today Mr Tan allow us to blog! wow! Its so special and i love it. We were to blog about our personal recount of the class cheer competition. here it goes.. =)

I was so excited for the coming inter-class cheer competition. In my mind, i was thinking of every single cheer that i have learned form my different instructors, however, i could not put them into a cheer. i have participate in many camps and i love how they cheer for one another. I love to cheer and shout too, that is why i cannot wait for a chance to show it out. My class committee, had make up a nice cheer for us. I love the cheer and mostly, the beat. The only problem I have was to memorise the whole lyrics for that cheer.

Many times, our class would end up shouting at one another when we were practicing. Some of our classmates would not want to participate. With much effort, some of our classmates managed to catch their attention and continue to practice our class cheer. I enjoyed staying back with my classmates. I am also very encouraged by some of my classmates who did their best to ensure everyone of us learn the class cheer.

During the day itself, i was so excited, but in the same way, having a strong determination to win the competition. We meet up at 6.30am in the morning to practice cheer, almost everyone was present. Even though everyone done their best during practice, but i was uncertain if they would have the same results when they were on the stage. I could only try my best and let God do the rest. For the first few periods, we had normal lessons. Everyone thought that our teachers would just close one eye and let us practice out cheer, but they did not. Despite having less time than others, we did not give in. Everyone stayed in class during recess and practice cheer. Now, i started to see the 3e3 spirit.

I was so excited that i had totally forgotten how hungry I am. We assembled at the school hall and the competition has started. As one class after another finished their cheer, our heart beats faster. We encouraged one another to do our best. At the back stage, everyone just ignored how they feel and used all their might for the performance. I could see every one's face was full of joy, I know that they had done their very best. After that, we went down to the amphitheatre to take pictures. We have fun taking pictures together and make all sorts of poses.

Back to the hall, we continued to watch other classes performing their cheer. The cheer i love most was a 4e class with cape on each person. I was so amazed by how they present their cheer, it was very interesting and fun. After all that time to relax and watch the performance, the time to reveal the results has came. Our class was staring at chelsea as she was the MC, she was going to say out the results. The third was 3e5, 3e4 got second and we got first! We was so elated, no words to describe. We were to perform to the whole school again as we were the champion for the secondary 3 level. We did not have any faults, everything went smoothly.

In conclusion, I feel that everyone can achieve something if they put hard work in it. As for class cheer competition, we did our best, that is also why we won! Not only the things we like, but we should also do our best in everything that comes along. "Excellence in what ever we do!" that is the message i want to put across.

WEI

The happiness of life is made up of minute fractions—the little soon-forgotten charities of a kiss, a smile, a kind look, a heartfelt compliment in the disguise of a playful raillery, and the countless other infinitessimals of pleasurable thought and genial feeling.
